Creativity!

Creativity is a certain ability that every single human being has of viewing things in their own way. If people are encouraged to express creativity new generations would be more likely to make drastic changes to the future.
Creativity matters in education! Now days academics are believed to be more important that allowing students to demonstrate their amount of creativity. Because not all students are interested in academics people usually assume that they have a learning disorder. This might be because students don't like doing homework, forget to study, or just have a difficult time concentrating during lectures. These students should be allowed to demonstrate their intelligence through other ways, like arts which allows them to show of all their creativity and capacity of learning through other ways. Creativity should be seen as important as academics, because not all students enjoy academics.

Hire me, please!

In an interview situation here are my strengths and how I could accentuate them:
I am very good at dressing properly by wearing situation-appropraiate clothes as well as not talking too much about myself. Even though sometimes it's not good to talk about ourselves too much I believe that  I talk about myself a decent amount, not too much or too little. Now when it comes to clothing I decide what outfit to wear for occasions the night before. By picking my outfit the night before I relieve myself from feeling stress minutes before the job interview.

Here are my weaknesses and how I would overcome them:
Even though I am not good with timing. I try to be professional when it comes to interviews. A solution for my problem would be to show up to my job interviews a little early. This will show my interest in the job as well as prevent me from being late. But I also need to make sure that I do not show up too early because by doing so I might seem too pushy. This might make the interviewer think I am trying too hard to impress.

I have never applied for a job but if I failed to obtain a job I would would retrace my steps. Knowing what I did wrong in previous interviews would help me make changes in future interviews. I am sure this would help me obtain the jobs that I apply for.

Digital Learning Day

1. This week is all about using technology in school classrooms. Here is a helpful website for both new and experienced teachers. You can use this website free of charge. Click here to view Edutopia. Edutopia is organized based on grades levels, core strategies, and other useful tools like blogs & videos. You can join certain "communities" and receives tips and help from former teachers.

2. Unfortunately digital learning day is just another normal day for everyone. At my site school, my teacher didn't even know it was digital learning day. When I brought it up she seemed surprised that I even knew about. She was glad that she was showing the students a power point but it wasn't specifically planned for digital learning day. My high school really didn't do anything out of the ordinary for this day. The teachers didn't seem to care or were just not aware of it.
